Michele Torri — TORRI

It is a story of work and sacrifice, of courageous choices and unwritten rules handed down over three generations. But it is also the greatest meeting point between us and the market.

La tradizione imprenditoriale TORRI

The entrepreneurial tradition

The entrepreneurial tradition dates back to 1961, when Giuseppe Torri started his business with small metal polishing machines in Quinzano d'Oglio, in the Po Valley.

It was in 1977 that the first die-casting press was installed and the family's history in the world of metals began.

The 1990s saw his son Giulio Torri engaged in developing the foundry business and, in 2008, with the third generation, Torri Solare — a photovoltaic panel manufacturer — was born, led by Michele Torri.

The Technology Hub

Since 2021 the company has remediated and redeveloped an industrial lot in Brescia of around 10,000 sqm, built in the 1970s and transformed into the technology hub where the group's activities are concentrated. Within the area, new products and technologies are produced and tested.

01

Production is 100% powered by photovoltaics.

02

New technologies are tested with an external photovoltaic field of around 20 kWp used solely for testing.

03

The laboratory is state-of-the-art and is where destructive and performance tests are carried out together with research institutions.

04

The entire plant is energy self-sufficient thanks to the 400 kW photovoltaic system and the well that supplies the whole facility and its air-conditioning systems.
