What is X-CORE² technology?

X-CORE² is TORRI's patent-pending technology based on an engineered frame with a polymer insert that generates the so-called "slab effect": it redistributes mechanical stresses across the entire panel surface, with over 75% reduction of the concentrated load and load redistribution up to 5 times greater than a traditional frame. The result is a more robust module that can be walked on and is protected against silicon microcracks.

Do TORRI photovoltaic panels resist hail?

Yes. Thanks to the PRISMA 4.0 construction model, TORRI modules are up to 8 times more hail-resistant than the market standard and the reference IEC requirements, keeping the silicon circuit intact over time.

Can you walk on photovoltaic panels?

In general, walking on a panel can cause invisible microcracks and power loss. TORRI's X-CORE² technology makes the module walkable by drastically reducing the concentrated load during installation and maintenance, minimising the risk of damage to the silicon.

How robust are TORRI panels?

TORRI modules are up to 3 times more robust against accidental impacts and withstand up to 750 kg/m² of snow load, thanks to the PRISMA 4.0 construction philosophy and X-CORE² technology.
